TONY PARMARA: Well the government is using figures of over half a million people on the move and, although we haven't been able to verify it ourselves because the people are so spread out, but we think the number is quite plausible.
TONY PARMARA: Well I think the biggest consequences are an indirect effect of war and that the population has had to leave their homes and areas of settlement, so basically they're on the move and yeah, access to health care, access to proper drinking water and perhaps access to food will all be difficulties.
TONY PARMARA: Well the longer term consequences are that there'll be greater efforts needed by the international community to try and address these needs because as these people are away from their home settlements they've lost a lot of their coping mechanisms as well.
