Samuel Marsden missionary New South Wales - Missionary Biographies - Worldwide Missions
It was the policy, and oftentimes the base self-interest of those who held power in the colony to resist all attempts at reformation and improvement; and as the brave and godly chaplain persisted in his efforts, he was constantly assailed with personal abuse, official misrepresentation, and newspaper libels.
Fourteen years previously, when on his first voyage to New South Wales, he had read "The Life of Brainerd," and it had kindled in his bosom, as it has kindled in many others, a flame of missionary zeal.
They were feared and hated in New South Wales; but Marsden soon discovered them to be a noble type of savage, though constantly engaged in internecine wars, and often stirred up to murderous reprisals upon white men, by the ill-treatment they received.

The seven sites are Adelaide City and Elizabeth in South Australia; Bankstown and Parramatta in New South Wales; Brisbane City and Southport in Queensland; and East Perth in Western Australia.
During the third quarter of 2002 an addendum on the prevalence of drug dealing by detainees was conducted, and the findings from this, including the accuracy of a proposed model of the drug market, are presented.
The addition of the new monitoring sites has shown that drug use patterns at the Sydney sites are different from those at the other participating jurisdictions and highlights the need for collections to be dispersed across jurisdictions.

William and Sarah did not marry on Norfolk Island this I feel is proved by the fact that while the family were on Norfolk Sarah in all Muster's and Victulating lists is recorded as Mary Leadbeater and John Hugh and William as Leadbeater also.
Sarah Leadbeater arrived in the colony on board the "Earl Cornwallis" 10th June 1801 on board the ship were a family by the name Brown a David Snr and Jnr who were free and three other sons John, Thomas and William all convicts.
On her arrival Sarah was assigned to a Mr Brown of Parramatta so it seems in all likelihood that when John Brown (convict) from Sarah's ship was sent to Norfolk that his father David accompanied him as Musters record a David Brown Snr on Norfolk.
