		Parshall hard red spring wheat was released by the North Dakota Agriculture Experiment Station in the spring of 1999.
		Parshall is a conventional height, awned variety with good adaption for North Dakota and the surrounding region. In multiple yield trials Parshall averaged about 1 bu/a more than 2375 and 4 bu/A more than Butte 86. Parshall has good lodging resistance and shattering resistance slightly better than 2375.
		Parshall is named after Parshall North Dakota located in the west-central part of the state.
