Ironically, the three latter parties are component members of the National Front coalition, a coalition that is spearheaded by parties which are avowedly communalist by ideology and objectives.
I would urge these parties to re-examine introspectively on what their long term objectives are and how to best attain them.
This entity would unite all progressive parties in Malaysia, both weak and strong, to provide the Malaysian people with a real and credible alternative to the current dichotomous state where we are caught between a rock and a hard place.

When Singapore seceded from Malaysia in 1965, its Legislative Assembly became Parliament, and it ceased to be represented in the Parliament of Malaysia.
