Pasig City is one of the cities and municipalities that comprise Metro Manila in the Philippines.
Located along the eastern border or Metro Manila, Pasig City is bordered on the west by Quezon City and Mandaluyong City; to the north by Marikina City; to the south by Makati City, Pateros, and Taguig City; and to the east by the municipality of Cainta in the province of Rizal.
Pasig City is politically subdivided into 30 barangays.

Pasig was intended for use as a storage tank in the South Pacific near New Caledonia but was replaced by eonerete barges.
Returned to her owner, Pasig reverted to her original name and served as SS J.C. Donnell until scrapped in 1947.

Anyway, according to this article, yes, they're reviving the ferry operations in The Pasig.
However, I think the private operator of the ferry service must also consider things like the river's upstream current and the clearance of the bridges that the ferries would pass under, especially if its high tide in the areas near where the river meets the Manila Bay, things like those.
