Password Board Game - How To Play
If the 'B' player does not guess the correct Password after the first clue, the pointer on the scoring dial is moved to 9 and given to the opposing 'A' player who gives one clue word to his or her'B' partner.
For example, if 'mud' is given for the Password 'muddy,' the player is told that he or she has given a form of the word and has one chance to correct it.
When Password is guessed, both the player who gives the clue and the one who guesses the Password receive the points on the scoring dial.

favorite Password game - GSN Buzz
ABC's Password (1971-1974) was rebranded and Password All-Stars (November 1974-February 1975) came out of that, followed by a third revamp and rebrand back to normal 'Password' that would last until June 1975.
I also heard that GSN tried to convert these as well as the last episode of Password All-Stars to their digi-beta format, but it didn't work too well, as they are apparently in bad shape.
Also like the game play and the late 70's-early 80's hairstyles of celebrities (even though the hairstyles of the 80's looked more attractive, a la Shelley Smith from SP), and the Alphabetics round, which would later be renamed the "Super Password" round in SP.

Help for Common PBeM Server Commands
The word game at the beginning of most commands should be replaced with the name of one of the pbmserv games.
This is useful for games with hidden information, such as DarkChess, or games which can turn the board to show your pieces at the bottom, such as Chess.
If this is the first action from that player in the game, he leaves play (without penalty) and if more than one player is left, the game is restarted without the player.

My thoughts are that even though a lot of people think that the original format has gotten stale and wouldn't retain the people with short attention spans, some games might only take 2-3 words if playing to 25, which may keep some viewers interested, if it isn't dumbed-down (and there's adaquette judging).
Have the password start at a given point value, say 50 points, and decrease by 10 on each team guess.
I wasn't as fond of the Password Puzzles because you sometimes would have a clue word show up as a password later within the same round, also they would occasionally have initials rather than words as passwords.
