Jennings is considered one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time.
Jennings again impressed in his first season in English football, as he played every league game for his club, and was bought by Tottenham Hotspur for £27,000 at the end of it.
In 2003 Jennings was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in recognition of the skills he demonstrated in the English league.
