I seem to remember that Pater Pio had stigmata (bleeding of hands and feet as Christ), but I don't know if that's a proven fact.
You are right, Pater Pio was a stigmatic during 40 years (I dont know exactly), but what I know exactly is, he was an Italian, not a Czech one.
He had the stigmata for many years, and what was so unusual about Pio's stigmata was that when it bled, the blood smelled of perfume or flowers.
