Patrickswell manager Phil Bennis admitted afterwards that his side had not played well, but was, nonetheless, pleased that they had got over what he had described as their most difficult challenge to date and had booked for themselves a place in the semis.
Unlike Patrickswell, they had just one point on the board after 28 minutes from Declan O’Grady, but were happy enough to go in just five in arrears.
There was tremendous pressure on the losers’ defence in the final 10 minutes as Patrickswell hunted for scores, and the most important contribution came on 56 minutes from Paul O’Grady, who stuck a foot out to put the ball over the line after keeper Tim Houlihan had earlier made a brave save.

Limerick (Luimneach in Irish) is an Irish county in the province of Munster, located in the Mid-west of Ireland with County Clare to the north, County Cork to the south and County Kerry to the west.
This type of signal does use a (parabolic) reflector and thus lower power lamps and a less directional lens system are used since there is a far greater percentage of the light available to be directed down the tracks towards the driver of the oncoming train.

 about
Patrickswell still retains the appearance of a village, despite its population of over 3000 and perhaps more importantly, to my mind, it still holds that flavour of a village in its good natured people and their great since of humour.
I was born in Patrickswell and lived there until my late teens, when I immigrated to London in 1952 and then to Australia in 1967.
Although it is now over fifty years since I have lived in Patrickswell, it is still very much a part of me. From time to time I return and get the opportunity to catch up with old friends and relations and especially school friends.
