  AN PHOBLACHT/REPUBLICAN NEWS
While this statistic may not have been worth Paul Arthurs' attention, it is to my mind telling because when factored into the equation it leads one to conclude that Sinn Féin is in the perfect position to unseat the Ulster Unionist Party candidate and win the third seat.
Were such to transpire, the implecations could be so mind-boggling that poor Paul Arthurs would have to take several refresher courses to come to grips with a political world of which he presents himself as an expert.
Paul Arthurs is merely the latest in a long line of political pundits who from the1982 Assembly Elections right through have written off the chances of Sinn Féin at this stage of every election campaign.

Paul Arthurs Restaurant, Kircubbin County Down Restaurant, eat in Kircubbin County Down Northern Ireland   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-19)
Paul Arthurs’ restaurant is a simple modern room on the first floor, with an open kitchen where you can watch the great man at work.
Unusually for Northern Ireland, there is a menu in the window advising dishes offered that evening: duck breast with foie gras, brioche & figs is a typically luxurious starter, for example, and there will probably be mussels and various shellfish; you’ll also likely to find local venison or wood pigeon, in season.
Modern menus are interesting and the cooking is good: fresh lobster bisque will be full of flavour, and the grilled ribeye steak with roast shallots, bacon mushrooms & thyme has not had far to travel as the beef is from the Arthurs family’s farm.
