  Comic creator: Paul Murry
Paul Murry drew for the Disney comic books and was mainly responsible for the adventurous 'Mickey Mouse' stories of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.
The charming style of the Mickey Mouse characters was already formed in the 1930s and 1940s in Floyd Gottfredson's daily comic strips, and Murry did much to further develop these characters.
Murry drew thousands of pages of comics during his career and was one of the few Disney artists who was successful in drawing all the characters.

Super Goof first appeared in The Phantom Blot #2 (February, 1965) by Del Connell (story) and Paul Murry (art), where he was just imagining that he was a super hero.
In later stories, Super Goof not only encountered the Phantom Blot, but he also encountered other bad guys such as Black Pete, the Beagle Boys, Emil Eagle, and Mad Madam Mim.

 Don Markstein's Toonopedia: Super Goof
The story was written by Del Connell, whose scripts were appearing throughout Disney comics, and drawn by Paul Murry, who had been illustrating Mickey Mouse comic books for years.
One final tinkering with the origin story appeared in the 31st issue (August, 1974), where the meteorite was thrown out and Goofy was said to have gotten his first seed goober from a Mexican superhero named Super Señor.
With a variety of writers and artists (but with the Murry look predominating), Super Goof battled Mickey's Phantom Blot, Uncle Scrooge's Beagle Boys, and villains of his own such as Emil Eagle, for years to come.

However, in at least one other Italian or Brazilian tale Minnie did have another niece named Zizi (whether this was the name of Melody's twin or just another name for Melody is unknown).
However, in America, Minnie has had a couple sets of twin nieces as portrayed by Paul Murry, named both Melody & Millie and Pammy & Tammy (these could very easily be the same twins, but Paul Murry forgot he had already named them in a previous tale).
It is reported that another name is attributed in American comics giving Minnie's single niece the name of Molly.

He drew a few sample strips for his friend Art Lafave, who ran a newspaper feature syndicate in Cleveland.
Lafave recommended having the strip drawn by a second party, so Dick selected Paul Murry because of the latter's facility with "wonderful hillbilly characters." Murry proved adept at Western characters, as well, as these examples make abundantly clear.
In its use of dialect and a naive central character, plus a touch of satire, the strip superficially resembles "L'il Abner"; however Buck is less gullible and more resourceful than Al Capp's bumpkin.
