	Reviews: Paul the Apostle - Christianity Today Movies
		The latest example is Paul the Apostle, a TV movie produced four years ago as part of The Bible Collection (a series of films made between 1994 and 2002 by the Italian company Lux Vide) and released to video this summer.
		Paul the Apostle is the last installment of this series to come out on video; earlier installments, including the Emmy-winning Joseph and the CBS mini-series Jesus, were released on the Warner and Trimark labels, while a subsequent film, The Apocalypse, was released by GoodTimes earlier this year.
		Paul does not appear in the Scriptures until the end of Acts 7, and Part One of this two-part film ends with Paul's escape from Damascus, as described in the middle of Acts 9.

		Caesar Nero was the sixth emperor of the Julio-Claudian Caesars.

	Historians Can't Agree -- When Did the Apostle Peter Meet His Death?
		Following the fire, Nero had thrown the whole area open to the homeless population of Rome -- in order to divert suspicion that he was the possible originator of the conflagration.
		He appeared before Nero on his first defense (II Timothy 4:16-17), and after Nero left Rome for Greece on September 25, 66, he appeared before the "rulers" and was executed on January 25, 67 A.D. He died and was buried alongside the Via Ostiensis.
		Nero arrived back in Rome in late January or early February and put Peter to death on the cross in the Vatican Circus before the screaming Roman mob.
