When paul robinson left the show in 1992 the core main characters left the show during 1992/1993 which really killed it for me. Then again about 1999/2000 when the scully's came because the 1997-1999 period was pretty good.
Neighbours definitely jumped the shark when a newly married Toady and Dee were kissing and Toady drove off the edge of a cliff into the sea.
Neighbours was once one of the most popular shows on television nowadays it is thrashed by Home and Away.
