Paul Rodgers was born on December 17, 1949 in Middlesbrough, England.
Rodgers is of the old school of frontmen, a blues belter to Mercury's prancing show-off, and while his voice may have lost some of the power and command of his heyday, he more than got the job done.
Paul Rodgers' career was acknowledged with performances of 'Wishing Well', 'Feel Like Making Love' and 'I Can't Get Enough Of You Love', which, although not to the same degree as the Queen songs, were received rapturously and even had a good portion of the crowd singing along too.

Passion, power, and soul - distilled to perfection - are some of the many superlatives your mind might conjure up when you hear Paul Rodgers sing.
And, although his unique talents (which also include world-class songwriting and instrumental skills) and accomplishments hardly require a hard sell by anyone, it is still irresistible to ponder what a truly amazing career it has been by anybody's standards.
Nevertheless, Rodgers, always one who has aspired to keep his "feet on solid ground" (even in the eye of the hurricane of rock'n'roll stardom), is consummately unassuming, full of easygoing good humor, and seemingly oblivious to all such kudos.

Paul Rodgers - Electric reviewed by The House of Shred
Not one to sit still for long, Paul returned to the studio with his solo band to produce the strong new collection of songs called Electric.
In fact, Rodgers may have deliberately been gearing this record toward radio, as the total time is only 41:38, practically an EP by today's standards.
Just don't expect a Bad Company show, as Paul prefers to mix it up in his song selection playing tunes from all three, or I guess I should now say four, of his classic bands.
