  Ross Paule - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ross Paule (born April 4, 1976 in Memphis, Tennessee) is a former American soccer midfielder, who last played for the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer.
Paule spent the rest of 2001 and all of 2002 with the Metros, usually playing -- and not playing too well -- in a new out-of-position role of defensive midfielder, as mandated by Metro coach Octavio Zambrano.
Ross was traded to Columbus prior to the 2003 season for Chris Leitch and Jeff Matteo and spent the next two seasons there, scoring seven goals in 2004.

Paule was called into the U.S. National Team by coach Bruce Arena for the upcoming contest against Chile in Ft. Lauderdale on Feb. 21 at Lockhart Stadium, while Harris was named to coach Rene Simoes' side that will face Costa Rica in Costa Rica on February 24.
Paule will have the opportunity to earn his first-ever full U.S. National Team appearance, joining the Bruce Arena-led squad that is coming off the historic 3-0 win over Germany on February 6 in Jacksonville.
