Paul Stanley - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Stanley Harvey Eisen (born January 20, 1952, New York City, New York) aka Paul Stanley, is an American rock guitarist and vocalist for the rock band KISS.
Paul's persona in KISS is "The Starchild", apparently a reference to Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, which portrays an astronaut's transformation into a higher being resembling a fetus called the Star Child.
Stanley is not, as urban legend has it, the son of Al Eisen (inventor and commercial spokesman for "2000 Flushes").

Paul Stanley of KISS fame has been wooed back for 40 extra performances, from Sept. 28 to Oct. 31, pushing back the closing of the show by a month.
