  15. Paul TROLLOPE
Paul, a Welsh International was the last major signing of the 2002/3 close season by Kevan Broadhurst and he was awarded the captains armband.
Trollope is obviously highly regarded by Mark Hughes, the Welsh manager - at Sixfields the International label led to huge expectations which Paul could not meet and he was an early target pf the Cobblers boo-boys.
Paul when he was on song, was very useful he seemed to be willing to get stuck in and at times he was composed on the ball.

Trollope Prize   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-10)
Trollope closely illustrates this struggle insofar as it takes place in the public sphere, but the dynamics of power within the home are for the most part unrepresented in the novel.
Trollope was not a radical and was more apt to have less liberal opinions than modern liberals would wish, but he should not be condemned as an anti-semite simply for this.
Trollope, at the most, is as anti-semitic as any progressive conservative southern liberal is racist, which is not a total dismissal of the possibility that he is, but rather an affirmation that he is not utterly despicable.

Paul Bracewell also had another fine game and his legs were given a rest on 85 minutes when Neil Smith replaced him, whilst Paul Trollope and John Salako were not required on the night.
Paul Peschisolido made a welcome return to first team action, in fact this was his first start of the new season, and Paul ran the Millwall defence ragged for most of the first half.

The Way We Live Now, The Film Adaptation
Trollope's Ruby is a lot less the complacent woman-doll: in general this film adaptation is less sympathetic to women than Trollope himself, much less.
She claims an engagement, Paul seems to think that if there was one it has now expired, but nevertheless that does not deter him from visiting her at her lodgings - and when he does so, Trollope places it clearly in the context of the Sir Felix-Ruby sub-plot.
And then Paul takes her to Lowestoft - in Victorian terms this was a definitely risque thing for a gentleman to do if he was not related to a lady, even if he was engaged to be married.

The likely scorer of goal number two was Scott Murray, he burst through the high offside line and tried to score a wonder goal by adding a wicked curve on a shot - this crept wide and a goal would have been a reward for his excellent run.
As the fans prepared for half time - Paul McGregor grabbed his second goal of the season in third minute of added time the much maligned part time Indy singer with a delightful chip - deserved for his recent transformation from boo-boy to hard working, tackling midfielder.
