World Champion Paulie Ayala got back on track with a 10 round unanimous decision over Edel Ruiz, It was a good win for Ayala, as it had been over a year since he stepped into the ring, dropping a 12 round decision to Erik Morales last November for the vacant WBC title.
Paulie and wife Leti were in Vegas to attend the Press conference of friend Kirk Johnson who is set to fight WBA John Ruiz on July 27, but it was not all pleasure as Paulie was at the Marco Antonio Barrera/ Erik Morales rematch to watch his next possible opponent.
Paulie clearly had Bones hurt on a couple different occassions in their fight and yet he was never in any trouble.
