		Payable On Death is an album by rock group P.O.D. The album is the group's eponymous effort.
		It is their lowest-selling major-label album to date, selling a little under 500,000 copies as of January 2006 according to Soundscan.
		This is partly due to a shakeup at Atlantic Records, leaving P.O.D. with no label support, meaning the only promotion the album gets is by word of mouth, and online promotion from fans of the band.

		Those of us who are no longer still too young to remember will recall that when Nirvana released Nevermind back in 1991, the majority of the few fans they had were a little shocked at how melodic they'd become.
		In P.O.D.'s case the Hansel And Grettel breadcrumb is Sleeping Awake, the lead single from the The Matrix Reloaded soundtrack that is included as a bonus track on this, their fifth studio album.

		The bookstores' main complaint is that you can see the woman's pubic bone, a spokesperson for the band said, but they're also unhappy that the artwork uses a sacred word in a sexual manner.
		"This is sad, not because P.O.D. need to be carried in those stores, but because for thousands of years the church led the world in great art and music," the band said in a statement on its Web site.
