The peach is a tree, Prunus persica, and the juicy fruit that it bears, which has a single large seed encased in hard wood (called the pit or stone), yellow or whitish flesh, a delicate aroma, and a velvety skin.
Peaches with white flesh typically are very sweet with little acid flavor, while yellow-fleshed peaches typically have an acidic tang coupled with sweetness.
Peach trees grow well in a fairly limited range, since they have a chilling requirement that subtropical areas cannot satisfy, and they are not very hardy.

However, the band also received negative attention: with the release of 1994 single "Prison Sex" and its respective music video, directed and created by Adam Jones, the Canadian branch of MuchMusic called the band into question by deeming the video too graphic and offensive, in spite of its abstract nature.

'Eat a Peach', released in 1972, is a landmark album for two reasons: one, it was a double vinyl LP consisting of both studio and live recordings, and was the Brothers first smash hit, kick-starting a legend.
And two, it was the first LP released by The Allman Brothers Band after the shocking death (in a motorcycle accident in 1971 - I remember that as if it were yesterday...the community of musicians and music lovers took that as hard as a death in the family.

The story of the Allman Brothers Band is one of triumph, tragedy, redemption, dissolution, and a new redemption.
Over nearly 30 years, they've gone from being America's single most influential band to a has-been group trading on past glories, to reach the 21st century as one of the most respected rock acts of their era.
The band's mix of blues, country, jazz, and even classical influences, and their powerful, extended on-stage jamming altered the standards of concert performance -- other groups were known for their on-stage jamming, but when the Allman Brothers stretched a song out for 30 or 40 minutes, at their best they were exciting, never self-indulgent.
