	NGCSU \| University Relations - NGCSU moving to NCAA Division II Peach Belt Conference
		The Saints will begin competition in Division II and the Peach Belt in fall 2005, but will not be eligible for post-season play until the probation period ends.
		The university may apply for a waiver of the final two years of probation at the end of the first year and could become a full member of the NCAA in fall 2007 if the waiver is approved.
		The Peach Belt Conference is one of the premier athletic conferences in Division II.

		Knuth, the 2005 PBC Player of the Year, led the Pirates with 382 kills during the season and was also tops on the team with a.303 hitting percentage, 145 total blocks and was second in digs with 293.
		Her 32-points against PC is the highest single-game total for any PBC player so far this season and also put the senior over the 1,000-point mark for her career.
		Currently ranked fifth in the PBC in scoring, sixth in three-point field goal percentage and 10th in overall field goal percentage.

		The Peach Belt Athletic Conference is committed to providing through its dependent collegiate members, a forum for student participation in athletic, academic, and co-curriculur events under the auspices of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, Division II.
		The idea for the formation of an NCAA Division II conference was discussed in November, 1988, in Greenville, S.C, with 11 schools represented at the meeting.

	Peach Belt Conference Golf Championship
		The 13th annual Peach Belt Conference Championship will be played at Lake Spivey Golf Club in Jonesboro, GA. The practice round will be on Sun., April 18, followed by two 18-hole rounds on Mon., April 19 and one 18-hole round on Tues., April 20.
		Results of all three rounds of the tournament will be posted on the Clayton State website and on the Peach Belt Conference at the completion of each day.
		The Peach Belt Conference trophy presentation in addition to the announcement of the All-Conference Team, Player of the Year, Coach of the Year and Freshman of the Year will be announced following Tuesday's final round.
