	Peć District - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The Peć District, also called Dukagjin or Regjioni i Pejës in Albanian, occupies the west part of Kosovo, Serbia and Montenegro.
		Pec is first mentioned in 1302, as a seat of the Serbian Patriarchy.
		In the course of history, the churches and other buildings of the Pec Patriarchy were several times destroyed and reconstructed, and its final appearance they received in 1931-1932.

	Southwest Mountains - Albemarle County - Piedmont Environmental Council
		In 1986, PEC worked with landowners to establish the Eastham and the Blue Run Agricultural and Forestal Districts-a designation established by state law to conserve and protect agricultural and forested lands and to provide essential open space.
		In 1989, PEC worked with Albemarle County, the Virginia Department of Conservation and Historic Resources and the Virginia Department of Transportation to designate Virginia Routes 22, 231, and 20 as Virginia Scenic Byways-a state designation recognizing a road's significant scenic, historic, and cultural value.
		PEC works on a continuing basis with the Albemarle County Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors as well as with other local, state, and federal agencies and partners to adopt and enforce plans, policies, and ordinances that recognize and protect the natural and scenic assets of this landscape.

	98-1273 -- U.S. v. Power Engineering Co. -- 09/08/1999
		Although PEC notified the CDPHE in 1986 that it was a generator of certain hazardous waste, PEC failed to assess adequately its generation, treatment, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste, and the CDPHE did not know the severity and extent of PEC's noncompliance with the state hazardous waste program until the August 1992 inspection.
		By stipulation before the district court for purposes of the preliminary injunction motion, the parties agreed that PEC "is and was a 'generator'" of hazardous waste as defined by RCRA and Colorado regulations.
		Thus, PEC "must comply with the applicable standards and permit requirements" of the Colorado regulations for generators of hazardous waste who are TSD facilities, including the financial assurance requirements of § 266.

	Technology Plan Review
		The committee was instrumental in the development of the technology section of a bond issue passed in spring 1996, and two members of the technology committee served on the bond issue steering committee.

		Of the Pec district’s original population of 460,000, there are still about 1,000 people in the village of Gorazdevac, and another 100 in the village of Crkoles in the Istok municipality, according to Pec District Chief Jovo Popovic.
		About 40,000 Albanians have moved in from Albania, plundering what is left, disturbing the peace, disrupting life for the local ethnic Albanians who, in turn, are squaring their own old accounts, he says.
