		In early 1894, Rufus Peckham's brother Wheeler was nominated to the Court by President Grover Cleveland to replace the deceased Samuel Blatchford, a New Yorker, who had died on July 7, 1893.
		Peckham is known for his strong support of substantive due process claims, part of what is called laissez-faire constitutionalism.
		But, because Peckham was a symbol of much that was "wrong" with the Court during the heyday of substantive due process, lumping these cases together was part of the progressive effort to demonize the turn of the century Court.

		I heard peckham's bein redeveloped and the tube's going to be extended to this area in years to come so i'm thinking it wouldn't be that bad to invest here, but at the same time.
		Peckham is full of resources, close to bus stops train stations etc, but alongside the redevelopment is the increase of gang warfare, crime killings etc. The area itself is nice but it is now considered to be unsafe.
		The multi-cultural part of Peckham is north of Peckham High Street and East of Peckham Rye and the regeneration area is south west of this.
