 Atlanta Astronomy Club - Arp Peculiar Galaxy Awardees
This new club is based on the 338 objects found in the Arp Catalog of Peculiar Galaxies.
100 of the 338 Arp galaxies must be imaged with a CCD camera to qualify for the Club's certificate.
For observers and astrophotographers, a majority of the 338 galaxies fall in the 12th.

As a result, my winning survey was the featured presentation in the "Youth In Astronomy" program at ALCON 2001.
Upon completing the Arp Peculiar Galaxies, my 10th A.L. Observing Program, the Astronomical League notified me that I was eligible for the very first Master Observers Award.
They were understandably excited because no one imagined that a youth would qualify before seasoned adult observers.
