Church of God with headquarters in Anderson, IN must be distinguished from another Church of God from Cleveland, Tennessee which is Pentecostal in its beliefs.
The Church of God (Anderson) is not Pentecostal and does not believe in speaking in tongues, etc. This Church of God (Anderson) does not believe in the Millennial Reign of Christ on earth, and practices footwashing as an ordinance.
Church of God views baptism and communion as ordinances as symbolic of the 'believer's regeneration in Christ and inclusion into the family of God'(Mead's) and baptism is by immersion.

 False Doctrine of Modalism: As taught by the United Pentecostal church
The error of modalistic monarchianism is in blindly focusing on the ONENESS of God passages, holding to a strict undefendable definition of oneness to the exclusion of the mass of Biblical proof of the distinction of God.
Either Jesus as God prayed to the Father (a form of Subordinationism or Arianism in which one person in the Godhead is inferior to, not co-equal with, another person in the Godhead) or Jesus as man prayed to the Father.
Interesting that the United Pentecostal Church is also a "rabidly and blind" defender of the superiority of the King James Version who feel that the KJV translators were actually inspired of the Holy Spirit in their translation from the "Textus Receptus".
