		Although PERCEPTOR is a great warrior, he prefers spending time with his human friends learning about earth and its many cultures.
		Perceptor combines by having Sureshock fit onto some pegs on the front of the spine, and High Wire connect to a hardpoint on the back of the spine.
		Perceptor stands 4.25" (11cm) tall with a pretty good balance of very light gray, light blue, dark blue, fl and red with some gold and silver accents.

	PVC Perceptor Kitbash (Microscope Mode)
		There really aren't any differently-colored permutations of Perceptor from the cartoon worth mentioning (except maybe a version covered in cosmic rust), and I wasn't really interested in painting him into his prototype colors from the Hasbro toy catalogs.
		Then I got to thinking about how I'd never gotten around do doing an alternate-mode version of Perceptor for my collection of die-cast miniatures (you'd be surprised how blessed few action figures come with microscope accessories), so I pondered the possibility of chopping him up and reassembling him in his transformed-mode.
		I had to separate the upper body from the lower body and reattach it, since he's kind of tilted to one side and I wanted the microscope mode to be as bilaterally symmetrical as possible.

	Princess Artemis Thinking too Hard About Perceptor
		Perceptor can use his lens barrel-turned-light cannon to fire blasts that are about equivalent to his rifle in robot mode, but it gets big and ugly when he transforms, very much like Megatron's fusion cannon.
		When Perceptor transforms into 'scope form, he can stay normal sized, which would be a good large telescope size for a human, or he can shrink to human microscope sized.
		I don't think that last reasoning fits Perceptor well...official word has him being friendly and such but not easily drawn into activity other than his work, so I don't think his being difficult to understand is really so much him just doing his own thing, but more that he's simply hard to draw out.

		The new version of Perceptor is more visually appealing to me, and has a slightly greater range of poseability than his previous self.
		Perceptor is great, anyways I must go to the story.
		Vehicle Mode: High Wire is my least favorite of the Perceptor team and the main reason why is also one of my main complaints about the Energon line...things don't lock into place and he ends up looking more like a pile of plastic pieces than a sleek dirt bike.
