		He removed to Sumner County, Tennessee, and from there to Perry County, Illinois, where he died September 2, 1840.
		Soon after the war he removed to Tennessee, and in 1818 came to Illinois, settling near Lost Prairie, Perry County, where he died.
		He died at his home, "on the hill, the highest point in the county", and is buried in a famiy graveyard on the old Hiram PYLE place, about 3 miles east of Browning Hospital, adjacent to Paradise Road.
