Persona for PS - Persona PlayStation - Persona PS Game
This is the kind of game they would force you to play in the underworld.
Persona 3 is an occult-themed RPG set in a Japanese high school.
IMPORT: Persona 2: Innocent Sin is a rare gem in today's RPG market - despite the popularization of the genre, it's stayed true to its offbeat roots to deliver a story, setting, and style unlike anything you're likely to have played before.

  Persona 2 Game Review -- PS1
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, the sequel to Persona is an intriguing RPG that bucks the trends and does away with the cliches of many other RPGs.
Playing Persona 2 is a unique experience in which you a transported to the dark, occult world of Persona, a world with a surreal atmosphere that is sure to keep RPG gamers guessing.
Persona 2 forgoes the dragons and swordplay of most Square and Enix RPGs for a storyline with a backdrop in the modern world that becomes more twisted and deep as the story goes along.

 Persona 2: Eternal Punishment - GameCritics.com
The intricacies of combat and the Persona system will be extremely frustrating and indecipherable for most children, and the technical aspects of the game are more suited to older and experienced gamers.
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment is definitely an RPG in every sense of the word, but changes the formula enough to become a breath of fresh air instead of a double dose of valium.
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment is an installment in the Japanese-only Megami Tensei series, and its pretty evident that there is a lot of history behind the game.

It is ambiguous as to how much a Persona is supposed to be an aspect of the host and how much it exists as its own entity, as they are known to occaisionally take over their host in instances of mortal danger or the encounter of a mythological enemy.
The games are noted for their complicated and heavily psychological storylines which draw from influences ranging from the works of psychologist Carl Jung to World War II conspiracy theory.
Like most games from the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, Persona games are dungeon crawlers, with many large complicated dungeons the player must complete throughout the game.

 Review of the game Persona
I strongly advise playing "Persona" until the end (at least until the "bad" ending), in order to appreciate and to understand its story, which is unfortunately a bit too simple and traditional up to the point where it takes a new direction.
The localization really changed the game: the setting was made North American instead of Japanese, names of the characters were changed, etc. Personally, I have nothing against the game world "immigrating" to United States, as it bears no importance whatsoever to the game's story and just brings it closer to common American players.
The English version of "Persona" must be the most daring localization work in the history of games: by the magic power of translation, the actual setting of the game was changed, and a modern Japanese metropolis became a quiet provincial American town.

PLAYSTATION VIDEO GAME REVIEWS...Persona 2: Eternal Punishment ...
While the game certainly stands on its own, there are a few things that happen that make more sense if you know what happened in the first game.
The controls in the game are simple and intuitive, and the inclusion of an automap is a major boon, especially in some of the more confusing "dungeons".
The game also throws a few too many overpowered baddies at you from the get go, and never relents -- you almost never get a chance to keep up with the Joneses, so to speak, and it can be frustrating.

The Street series of games had it's moment in the sun when NBA Street was released, thanks to the fun involved in over exaggerated dunks and huge tricks that made your rivals spin in disbelief.
Games here take anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes to complete; and if you're a good player expect a lot of short matches.
Thankfully since the game is super dependent on the tricks the animations for each trick is very smooth here in FIFA Street 2.

The game's mix of occultism, a real-world setting (in a genre then entirely dominated by medieval fantasy yarns, this was tantamount to box office poison), and a slightly confused localization contributed to its commercial failure even though it was an underground success amongst some more discerning gamers.
The original Persona is a complex, difficult, and lengthy game; its story is fresh, unusual, and even deeply emotional once you get through the too-hip trappings of some of its initial dialogue sequences.
This game was released in the U.S. and did only about half as well as its predecessor, despite featuring more accessible gameplay, highly refined graphics, and coming after the RPG genre broke through into the West.

Conventional wisdom suggests that most gaming journalists are uninspired, inconsistent, overly sensationalistic, or even fail to fact check before running a story.
A large criticism of everyday game journalism is that many times we just echo what a game company tells us to when previewing a new game.
