		The parish of Pertenhall on the Huntingdonshire border has an area of 1,614½ acres divided (with the exception of 10 acres of woodland) between arable land and permanent grass, the latter predominating.
		Pertenhall village is in the centre of the parish.
		Some distance east of the village is Pertenhall Hoo Farm, which preserves the name of the ancient manor, and is a small 16th-century building with traces of a moat some quarter of a mile to the north.

		Pertenhall is a small village situated about one and a half miles south of Kimbolton and half a mile from the border with what used to be Huntingdonshire and is now Cambridgeshire.
		There's not much to note about the village except that it's name is thought to be a corruption of "Purton Hill." Purton being the old english name for a church.
		Bedford or turn south onto the B6660 from the B645 (the old A45) in Kimbolton.
