Peter William Bone (born October 19, 1952) British politician and is the Conservative MP for Wellingborough.
Peter Bone was born in 1952 in Billericay and was educated at Westcliffe Grammar School.
Peter Bone again chose to contest Wellingborough against Stinchcombe at the 2005 General Election, and this time he came out victorious and was elected as the Conservative MP for Wellingborough by just 687 votes.

As Peter has mentioned it would really be best to take it to a professional for the crack to be cleaned and stabilised to prevent it creeping further and the milk cure is no good at all.
There is a particularly good epoxy I use for preventing this called Fynebond, which is used widely by restorers and conservators as far as I'm aware.
Obviously you would need to bear in mind the piece would not be usable once restored but would be fine on display.
