On stage Peter Bowles projects elegance in movement and expression with superb presence while at the same time switching character with lightning comic ability to his fictional cockney characters from his books.
I had not been able to get in touch with Peter before the performance and was told that as he had a double performance this day it would not be possible to have a quick chat with him.
My conversation with Peter Bowles who starred in the episode "Element of Risk" from The Persuaders was brief but under the circumstances it was a very nice gesture from Peter, Thank you.
