Peter Joseph ("P.J. Polaco (born October 16, 1973) is an American professional wrestler.
Polaco ascended to main event level by winning the ECW World Heavyweight Championship on April 22, 2000 at Cyberslam from Tommy Dreamer and threw down his ECW World Tag Team Championship.
Polaco remained on the Company's "B" shows, forming a team with Raven, until Team Alliance lost at Survivor Series 2001 and Polaco was fired along with the rest of the alliance roster (in kayfabe) by Vince McMahon until Ric Flair was able to save his job and get him drafted over to the RAW brand.

By the looks of things Justin Credible may not be coming to the World Wrestling Federation but Peter Polaco surely is. Jim Ross has formally announced that the Kendo stick-swinging hardcore rebel and former ECW World Heavyweight and Tag Team Champion has been signed to the WWF.
Unlike others who have burned (or at least singed) their bridges with the promotion, when Polaco left to join Paul Heyman's ECW he departed under very good terms with the understanding that the door was always open for a return.
Polaco's responsibilities to his family were paramount in his mind when deciding whether to make a commitment to the WWF or stay with the declining ECW federation.

Peter worked this deal out with me personally without any input from his friends Triple H and Shawn Michaels, contrary to some Internet reports.
Polaco improved greatly at Extreme Championship Wrestling under Paul Heyman's creative guidance and we are happy to have him back in the Federation, even though he is still available for ECW duty if needed by Heyman.

Peter Polaco (his real name) first made a name for himself in the WWF in the mid '90's, portraying the proverbial jobber, Aldo "The Portugeuse Man O' War" Montoya.
Also, without his feud with Dreamer, there's no doubt in my mind that Peter Polaco would be nowhere near where he is today.
Now, I don't mean to say that Credible's a bad wrestler or anything, but I am saying that, without his rivalry with Dreamer, he wouldn't have gotten so over with the fans, and wouldn't be as successful.

"Justin Credible" can no longer be used by Peter Polaco, despite that he’s been using it in the ECW for years, but I guess when Vince McMahon bought the ECW, he bought EVERYTHING.
It’s a shame that Vince doesn’t care about his employees, the fans of wrestling, and for that matter his own product.
