Peter Serafinowicz produced nearly all of the music for the series under his pseudonym, Gelg.
The second series differed from the first series in that there was dialogue between the four presenters and their guests, leaving behind both the narrated style of the first series and the anonymity given to the scientists.
Popper and Serafinowicz starred as presenters Jack Morgan (the artist responsible for the song 'Little Mouse' as featured in the first series) and Peter Packard respectively, alongside the two new female presenters, Pam Bachelor and Pealy Maghti, played by Olivia Colman and Josie D'Arby.

Peter Serafinowicz (who will be familiar to you from Spaced, Sean Of The Dead and Look Around You to name but a tiny handful of his remarkable achievements) is in LA at the moment, hanging out with Matt Groening, getting parts in American sitcoms and being an all round over-acheiving ponse.
To make matters worse he and his girlfriend Sarah Alexander, his brother James and his friend Ryan Cartwright have put together a short sketch about the creation of a new Oscar statuette for the noughties.
If you close your eyes it’s as if they just chopped up some audio of Alan Alda’s actual voice, that’s how weirdly exact it is. His Pacino is great too and he even looks the part and his Paul McCartney song for Capote is a peach.

This won't make him a fortune or win him worldwide fame on its own; but it builds an audience, it gets him instant feedback and it makes TV channel owners slightly nervous, because it's the start of a shift in the balance of power.
