Peter Šťastný (born September 18, 1956 in Bratislava, Slovakia) is a Slovak ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1980 to 1995.
After Wayne Gretzky, Peter Stastny was the most prolific scorer in the NHL in the 1980s.
Peter is the father of Yan Stastny, who made his NHL debut in 2005-06 with the Edmonton Oilers, and Paul Stastny, who is a prospect in the Colorado Avalanche organization.
