		Petra was formed in 1972 by Greg Hough and by the mainstay of the band Bob Hartman, who with the exception of a period in the late 90's and early 00's, has always been with the band in the studio and on tour.
		Petra released a third worship album, Revival, in 2001, and of what I've heard it wasn't all that bad, but perhaps it got lost in the shuffle as many newer Christian bands were also releasing worship albums at that time.
		Petra has never wavered from this and it has clearly been their purpose in every one of its 33 years to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to people.
