		As with the rest of the Genesis-era Phantasy Star series, movement is viewed from above, and in combat the enemies are viewed head-on from behind the party.
		An interesting plot device in Phantasy Star 4 is the android characters; most Techniques don't work on them, so they can only heal themselves (though they do regenerate while walking), and they have no techniques of their own, nor do they gain Skills with Levels — you have to find "attachment" pieces for them.
		When all's said and done, Phantasy Star: The End Of The Millennium is a somewhat easy game that relies more heavily on its characters and plot than the need to level constantly to move the story along.

		PHANTASY STAR GAIDEN interested me a little bit, it never had a North American release, and I don't understand Japanese (yet), but I'd like to have a copy of it to try in my gamegear, after all Japan's gamegear games work in our gamegears with out needing any type of converter.
		It was an unfair kill of a character, and I blame phantasy star IV for that.
		Phantasy Star, man that was fun, 'the girl next door' had it and didn't play these games (come how can anyone say THAT)so i took it and spent a long time on it with my friends.

		A fifth phantasy star was released for the gamegear, but it never saw the united states.
		Character deaths in games rarely put too much emotion in you, only phantasy star 4, suikoden, and xenogears have moved me. Not even the death of a certain character in FF7 seemed to be much of an impact on me (END SPOILER!).

		We can dream about a game with PS4 graphics where the universe was entirely fleshed out, but even Sega wasn't dumb enough to make a 240 Meg game to sell at $50 on a system with an installed base of roughly zero (Sega CD).
