		The saga of "The Sword of Truth" started growing in Goodkind's mind during the early 1990s, while he was building his house in the forests of the northeastern U.S. "It started with the character of Kahlan, and grew from that seed," he recalls.
		Like most other reviewers I am a huge fan of The Sword of Truth series, but Phantom has surrendered action, interaction and emotion for endless (and I mean endless)pages of agonising and philosophising by the major characters, especially Richard.
		Having been a huge fan of the first 4 Sword of Truth novels, my reasons for buying this book were loyalty to an ailing franchise and hope that Goodkind could re-discover his once magical touch for crafting immersive fantasy writing.

		This book needs Phantom to be sold as a two pack as far as I am concerned, but it is still worth owning if you love the sword of truth series.
		Sword of Truth had a great two books, and now, it is a cycle of the two main characters taking turns playing "the love of my life is in trouble".
		Phantom (the second of this trilogy) keeps getting moved back, and in the way that sequels work, you'll most likely be desperate for it after you finish this.

		I've finished Phantom it wasnt as good as chainfire but still good they allways leave u hanging in the end i cant wait 4 the 3rd series.
