Phillip Martin Simms (born November 3, 1955, in Lebanon, Kentucky) is a former quarterback for the New York Giants of the National Football League and currently a television sportscaster for the CBS network.
Simms grew up in Louisville and started his NFL career when drafted out of Morehead State University in the first round of the 1979 NFL Draft, by the New York Giants.
Phil is married to Diana, and they have three children: Christopher, Deirdre and Matthew.
