| | BUG backpackers hostel reviews Hotel Philia (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-07) |
 | | I was warned by some friends that hostels in Rome were very expensive and most of them were dirty, with bad showers, etc., so when I first arrived at the railway station I wanted to have a look around to see if I could find something decent. |
 | | The guy at the reception told me they had only private rooms with bathrooms, but since the price was very close to that of a bed in a hostel, and since I was travelling with my girlfriend, we decided to stay here, and I can say I am glad we did! |
 | | Hotel Philia charges entirely too much for rooms with swaybacked uncomfortable beds, toilets that do not flush, unfriendly and unhelpful staff, and a location near Termini station that is far from central for sight-seeing. |
