Philippe Lacoue-Labarthe (born 1940) is a contemporary French philosopher, literary critic, and translator.
Lacoue-Labarthe is influenced by and has written extensively on Martin Heidegger, Jacques Derrida, Jacques Lacan, German Romanticism, Paul Celan, and deconstruction.
A 2004 film, The Ister, is based on Heidegger's 1942 lectures on Friedrich Hölderlin, and features Jean-Luc Nancy, Philippe Lacoue-Labarthe, Bernard Stiegler, and Hans-Juergen Syberberg.
