Her first recording, in fact one of the earliest of all Philips recordings, was the Schumann Piano concerto with the The Hague Philharmonic Orchestra under Willem van Otterloo, in May 1951.
Philips had had a contract with Mecury Records for an exchange of repertoire since the end of a similar arrangement with Columbia Records in 1961.

Columbia Records - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Columbia Records is the oldest brand name in recorded sound, dating back to 1888, and in fact was the first record company to produce pre-recorded records as opposed to blank cylinders.
In July of 1912 Columbia decided to concentrate exclusively on disc records, and stopped recording new cylinder records and manufacturing cylinder phonographs, although they continued pressing and selling cylinder records from their back catalogue for a year or two more.
In 1988 CBS Records was acquired by Sony, who re-christened the parent division Sony Music Entertainment in 1991.

Classical LP records wanted for cash
If you started buying records in the 1950's and 1960's, however, then you may have a few or indeed many valuable records that are of interest to collectors worldwide.
Classical records are collected mainly by record label (manufacturer) and not as one might think by composer, conductor or performer.

Finally, damaged records are worth nothing unless they are very, very valuable to start with and then they may be worth 10 or 20 percent of mint.
Generally, collectible records are those made in the 1950s and 1960s but you cannot tell the date of manufacture from what it says on the jacket, because re-issues show only the recording date of the original performance.

RhymeState.com - Record Label Information and Release List - Polygram
At this time, most large recording companies manufactured both gramophones and records; CEO Anton Philips had noticed that it was risky to make gramophones without an interest in music recording and record manufacture, and that Radio Corporation of America (RCA) had merged with the Victor Talking Machine Company in 1929 for this reason.
Research was already going on in Philips' labs on magnetic tape and long-playing records, and a record company could support eventual new formats, particularly as other record companies were notably unenthusiastic about new formats.
Philips' commitment to LP technology was an important factor in its 1951-1961 deal with Columbia.

Philips DVDR 3305 Review DVD Recorder
The Philips isn’t very quick to respond to the remote either, when you press the fast forward button for instance, there is a delay of just under a second as the DVD drive makes a thunking noise before it starts to fast forward.
Philips could have made life so much easier by mapping the zoom function to the otherwise unused “Select” button and the slow motion could have been made to work in the same way as on the LG but they haven’t.
The Philips DVDR 3305 uses a constant bitrate for all but the 6hr mode, so it is unable to increase the bit rate to adapt to fast movement or unable to reduce the bit rate if there is little movement.

From the BBC, he moved on to become a producer at Philips Records, where he worked with artists such as British rock 'n roller Marty Wilde and the folk-pop trio The Springfields.
Raymonde was among the very few British record producers of his day who became an influence on his American counterparts--he told author Lucy O'Brien that he found his arrangement of the Marty Wilde song "Danny" getting cribbed by American producers and arrangers.
He'd written a tune while on vacation that he played for her, and which the singer enjoyed, and then got lyricist Mike Hawker to add words, and that song became "I Only Want To Be With You," one of eight cut at Springfield's first solo session, and the one chosen as her debut single.

Limiting simultaneous recording and playback to DVD-RW is only one example of the Sony's “unequal” treatment of disc formats — which the manual helpfully summarizes in a formidable table.
Unlike the i.Link inputs I've seen on some other recorders, the one on the Philips doesn't automatically control whatever device is connected to it, which means you have to manually start both the recording and the source playback.
Unlike the Sony and JVC, though, the Philips doesn't let you do playlist editing — which means you can't change the order of recorded scenes unless you rerecord from an edited DVD in the sequence you want and then remove any gaps.
