In 1992 Jerry began hosting "On the Air With the Geator," which ran locally on Philly-57 TV, nationally on cable's Nostalgia Channel and in syndication.
In an interview taped May 1, 2000 for the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia's Pioneers in Broadcasting series, Jerry discusses his career and tells how he came to be known as "the Geator with the Heater." You can see it at the Broadcast Pioneers' website if you have the free RealPlayer.
The move to WFIL-TV, channel 6, came in January 1967.
