 SUNS: Paul Shirley’s Blog
The 27-year-old forward -- who made the club's opening day roster, was cut before the opening game, but then re-signed in January -- originally kept an online diary for Suns.com during the team's five-game road trip in mid-March.
Shirley returned to writing during the Suns' run to the Western Conference Finals and has just filed his final entry, sharing his thoughts on the team's exit at the hands of the Spurs earlier this month, and his expected exit from the Phoenix bench.
That's right, in spite of his complaints over being censored in his wildy popular "Road Ramblings" on Suns.com, the wildly witty 12th man heard your heart-felt pleas for more online sarcasm and agreed to offer up tidbits from time to time throughout the Suns' playoff run.

 Suns send Casey to Hornets
Lampe, a 19-year-old perimeter big man who had fallen out of the rotation, was the last player on Phoenix’s roster from the Stephon Marbury trade.
The Phoenix Suns traded third-year swingman Casey Jacobsen and young forwards Maciej Lampe and Jackson Vroman today to New Orleans for 34-year-old wing player Jim Jackson and a 2005 second-round pick.
Phoenix needed to include all three players to make the salaries match for trade rules.

 deseretnews.com Suns hope Finley returns
Finley has narrowed his choices to Miami, Phoenix and NBA champion San Antonio.
Finley, who averaged a career-low 15.7 points last season, was waived by Dallas under a one-time "amnesty clause" that allows teams to cut players to keep their salaries from being subject to the NBA's luxury tax.
Finley still will receive the $52 million remaining on his Dallas contract, but the Mavs won't have to pay that same amount in luxury tax, as they would have had he been kept on the roster.

Phoenix: The Suns have 14 players on the roster and that means two players will have to be on the IR.
The Suns were assigned the Albuquerque Thunderbirds with the Sacramento Kings, the Utah Jazz and the Sacramento Kings as their NBDL team.
Unlike other NBDL teams with players assigned to them that will play the same position and battle for playing time, it appears as if the Thunderbirds will provide a chance for those that are assigned to enhance their games.

 USATODAY.com - D-League humbles Thompson
Phoenix Suns rookie swingman Dijon Thompson on Nov. 26 became the first NBA player recalled by his team after being sent to the NBA Development League on Nov. 4.
But at the same time that league is trying to develop itself.
