Hi, I've noticed that you've built unofficial packages for phonegaim here: http://people.debian.org/~smimram/debian/dists/unstable/main/ is there any specific reason for not uploading them to Debian?
In fact there are three main reasons why I did not upload phonegaim.
The second reason is that phonegaim uses an old version of linphone

I'm maintaining linphone and linphone's upstream is nice (but does not have so much free time), so I could make the nessary changes in linphone package to provide the necessary libraries but again there would surely be some modifications to make in phonegaim's source and we would need the help of phonegaim's developers.
I expect phonegaim package to be a bit time consuming since users would surely want backport of functionalities of gaim (security fixes in particular).

Looking inside the phonegaim tarball, there is a Mandrake(!) gaim.spec file.
When trying to create the rpm file for phonegaim the compilation stops complaining about linphonecore.h missing.
I've copied some of the header files from linphone sources to the src dir of phonegaim, but I still get errors.
