		The Photokina 'World of Imaging' trade fair is the biggest of its kind anywhere in the world, it takes place every other year and is located at the Koln Messe in Cologne, Germany.
		Photokina 2002 was a true reflection of how far digital has come and how it now dominates much of the photography industry.
		Photokina 2002 marked the advent of the truly commercially available full-frame 35 mm digital SLR (it could be argued that this plaudit belongs to the Contax N Digital but this camera seems to be having a hard time making it to market and will always be a niche product).

	Shutterbug: An Introduction To Photokina Koln 2000
		I was told unofficially that this is the first photokina in its 50 year history to be more than half electronic/digital, and just 10 years after the first photokina to feature digital products.
		Digital sensors which can record as much image information and with as great a dynamic range as film and be fitted into convenient handheld cameras are still far in the future, and when available will have a very high cost (at least initially).
		This is why industry analysts who discussed this at photokina have generally concluded that film has at least 20 more years of life, if not much more.

	Infocomm - News - InfoComm Europe presents seminars at photokina 2002
		ICIA presented 22 educational seminars at InfoComm Europe 2002, held in conjunction with photokina in Cologne Germany, Sept. 25 to 30, 2002.
		Of the 240 photokina participants who attended the seminars, 114 of them submitted feedback by completing evaluation forms in order to improve future courses.
		The seminars were held in an open forum, and access was free to all photokina visitors.
