His son, the late Anthony Smith, father of Wilson Smith and grandfather of James W. Smith of Pictou, head of the Atlantic Milling Company, was long a prominent and active member of the old Court of Sessions for Pictou County.

John Nairn was born 1815 in Pictou, Pictou County, Nova Scotia and died in September 7, 1885 at Pictou Landing (Fisher’s Grant), Nova Scotia.
She placed a stipulation on the transferal of the property that required the City and County of Honolulu to "accept and forever keep and properly maintain the (gardens) as a public and tropical park to be known and called Foster Park" and left $10,000 for initial improvements.
Charles Gill died in 1904 and is buried at Duff Cemetery, Pictou County, Nova Scotia.

In 2000, we responded to 4 Lost Person Incident, 1 of these being outside of Pictou County (Truro, Colchester County) for Truro Town Police, and 3 in Pictou County for the RCMP.

All surviving issues of pre-1841 Pictou County newspapers have been examined and no reference to a pre-GMA tramway has been located but this absence is of little consequence for several reasons.

John McDougall from Halifax was 8th in 3:01:14 followed on his heels by Pictou County's own Charlie MacDonald from Trenton in 3:01:15.
Tom Hanh, Pictou was 4th in 35:17 followed by Trevor MacKay, Eureka, 5th in 35:36.
