The Earth is flat, pigs were invented by Monsanto, and genetically modified organisms are safe.
This refers to pigs in which a certain gene sequence related to faster growth is detected.
This means the pigs, their offspring, and the use of the genetic information for breeding will be entirely owned by Monsanto, Inc. and any replication or infringement of their patent by man or beast will mean royalties or jail for the offending swine.

PIG [source: Skip Frey, "How to Win at Dice Games"] "Pig" is an amusing game of chance and strategy suitable for a family or social gathering.
Thus a throw of two 5's, which ordinarily would be 10, turns into a score of 20; a throw of two 3's, which ordinarily would count 6, turns into a score of 12.
Editor's note: This game is sometimes played with special dice that have a skull instead of an ace, known as DEATH DICE.

"Pig (Pig-out)" Analysis   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-09)
If at any point in a player's turn, one of the dice shows a "1", the entire temporary score is lost, and the dice are passed to the next player.
The game rules are identical for this version of pig except the player loses his temporary turn score when one of the dice shows a "6", and loses his entire score when double "6's" (box cars) are rolled.
If we apply this principle to "Pig" the discrete moves of chess are replaced by the optimal strategies that would have to be computed for each of the possible "luck" combinations of the dice rolls (and their associated probabilities).

The game is called Pig, because the player can roll as many times as she wants in one turn but, if she gets greedy she could lose everything.
So to make your dice player a winner, choose a strategy that rolls a variable number of times depending on the number of points gained in the game and in the round.
