The Peanuts are a smart crew knowledgeable in the psychology of the human mind (no, really!), but only a few of them have the inherent violence in their souls to last eight rounds with the South Park kids.
Peanuts would kick the crap out of south park because snoopy would just hop it to his red baron plane and give the South Park Punks a little death from the sky.
The best thing that could happen to the peanuts is their instant shriveling into little dried balls of flesh as soon as the cross the town line, due to the incredible level of shameless behavior and morals those in South Park entertain.

 'Peanuts' was anything but
After five decades of drawing "Peanuts," after rising to the top in the golden age of newspaper comics, then dropping off and rising again with a healthy boost from television, cartoonist Charles Schulz is calling it quits.
Watterson marveled at the longevity of "Peanuts," pointing out that on the comics page "the competition far exceeds the available spaces and the results are Darwinian." The dependability of "Peanuts," the sameness of its characters, he said, "account for much of their popularity.
It's true "Peanuts" may have grown long in the tooth, but woe to the newspaper that tries to drop it from the comics page - it's still a money-maker, a whistle to the bank every day of the year.

Charles Schultz was argueably the greatest and most certainly the most influential strip artist of all time, and Peanuts totally changed the perception of the medium, appealing to the entire family rather than mostly to adults, and broadening and deepening the intellectual plane on which the art takes form.
Peanuts, however, has never dated, and most of the strips still are very readable half a century after original publication.
From that point, Peanuts began declining in quality from sheer brilliance down to mere excellence; Snoopy in particular was never the same wonderful dog we had all grown to know and love.

Peanuts: A Golden Celebration is a remarkable collection of strips spanning that time period.
One of the most interesting inclusions is that of several letters of complaint, ranging from readers whose religious sensibilities have been offended to a 1969 missive from Schulz's own syndicate asking him not to depict Franklin in the same school as the white students anymore.
Naturally, the much-loved Peanuts holiday specials are covered, as is the musical adaptation You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, but it's the strips that really make the book.
