		Hermogino said DAR recently launched Unlad Sakahang Niyogan Project (USNP) to boost the production and the income of coconut farmers in Pilar, Sorsogon through the replanting and fertilization of coconut trees, introduction of various erent crops, poultry and adoption of contour farming and soil fertility management practices.
		It is expected that in five to six years, over 50 percent of farmers in Pilar will benefit from the project, after which the local government will take over the project from DAR and Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) as a regular municipal extension program.
		A study by DAR showed that almost 90 percent of agricultural lands in Pilar are devoted to coconut production.

		Since walang fastcraft available that day kasi mga sira, ang option ko na lang para makatawid ay sumakay ng "DI KATIG" or a wooden ship pero when i get there puno na and the shipping line issued me a ticket na wala palang seat number.
		I totally agree with you pare...this is just another tragedy at sea waiting to happen!
