A young eagle was electrocuted last week in the Pine Ridge neighborhood in North Naples, the third eagle electrocution in Collier County in the past three months.
A second eagle was electrocuted in late February at Imperial Golf Estates in northern Collier County and was taken to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida with a severe wing injury.
Florida has the largest number of eagles in the lower 48 states.

SUMMARY: Between the dates of July 17 and Sept.15, Debra Hauenstein was employed as a nurse by the Florida Cancer Specialists.
An investigation by the Collier County Sheriff's Office Vice and Narcotics Bureau revealed that during her time of employment, Hauenstein stole eleven 50 mg doses of Demerol from the clinic.
On November 2nd, 2006, Hauenstein voluntarily met with investigators at the Collier County Sheriff's Office to turn herself in.
